A Note to Prospective Clients About Online Reviews

We understand why a prospective client would have questions after seeing negative reviews
about Lotus Building Group. If we were choosing a builder for a major investment, we would ask
about them too.

The most prominent reviews relate to a payment and performance dispute with a former client.
Instead of continuing the disagreement online, the matter was submitted to binding arbitration
before an independent neutral. Both sides had the opportunity to present their evidence,
documents and arguments.

After reviewing the matter, the arbitrator issued a final award in favor of Lotus Building Group
and determined that an unpaid balance remained due to Lotus. The issues underlying that
payment dispute were also central to the complaints later presented in the online reviews.
Those reviews remain visible because review platforms generally do not act as courts or
reconsider customer posts based on the outcome of a private dispute. Even when provided with
an arbitration decision, a platform may leave a review online under its policies. The continued
presence of a review should not be understood as a finding by the platform that its allegations
are accurate.

We respect the privacy of our clients and will not publish private project records,
communications or the complete arbitration file in response. Where permitted, we can provide
confirmation of the arbitration outcome without disclosing confidential information.

We do not expect anyone to simply ignore criticism. We ask prospective clients to consider it
alongside the independently reached arbitration result, our current client references and the
systems we use to keep every project transparent. Through Buildertrend, our clients receive
access to the same shared project record we use to document progress, schedules, billing,
change orders, selections and project communication.

We welcome thoughtful questions about how we work. Choosing a builder requires trust, and
we believe that trust should be based on the full record—not a single version of a disputed
project.
