How We Build New Homes in Williamson County
Each step of our homebuilding or renovation process is carefully considered and implemented. Learn more about our procedures below so you know what to expect across every project phase.
1. Develop Materials and Features
The first phase of any home construction project is a discussion. We want to know what you want most out of your home so we can start gathering the materials to make it happen. We offer many custom features like hand-made cabinetry, countertops and furniture to suit all your preferences.
2. Regulations Review and Permit Approvals
Every residential construction project must meet various code requirements and undergo approval for building permits. Lotus Building Group is intimately familiar with Williamson County building requirements, and we will navigate these conversations to ensure everything goes according to plan and we have the approvals we need to transform your home.
3. Site Evaluation
As we work with code enforcement officials and you finish planning your designs, we’ll use this time to evaluate your property and prepare with pre-construction measures. We’ll communicate with our suppliers to ensure the materials are on-site and help you move your things out of the way so we can work in a safe environment without affecting your possessions.
4. Planning and Design
While we handle all the paperwork, you can get to work with our designers! If you already have a plan or even just a few ideas, our team will incorporate them into one cohesive design. If you’re still unsure about your plans, we have plenty of blueprints to start with, which we can customize to your liking until we have a design ready for implementation.
5. Construction
Now, it’s time for the main event. Our construction teams are led by licensed and insured contractors who have experience in building new homes in Williamson. Our builders, electricians, plumbers and other technicians work together to construct each part of your new space and bring it together as efficiently as possible.
6. Inspection and Approval
Once the last of our finishing touches are in place, our work is complete. Our final phase involves a close inspection of our work, ensuring everything is up to code and fits all local regulations. After that, we’ll look to you for the green light. As long as you are satisfied with our work, we’ll get approval for the final product and prepare your new space for the move.
